Anti-bullying Week and Children In Need

All week the children have been taking part in different activities to raise awareness of the importance of being kind to each other. The teachers have been working with the children to reinforce the message that bullying is unacceptable and what our children can do if they feel that they are being bullied.

We started the week with ‘Odd Socks Day’ on Monday and there were some fantastic combinations of odd socks! It really helped to reiterate the important message that we are all unique and that is a great thing.

We also marked Children in Need with our own clothes and wearing something spotty or yellow! The children really entered into the spirit of the day.

Thank you very much for your generous donations – we really appreciate it and our community has made a difference today to the many children and families who need support. The children in our school are always very keen to help other people whenever they can which is lovely to see.
