Online Safety
Online Safety is an important part of our school curriculum and our children regularly learn and share information about keeping safe online.
As a school, we understand the responsibility to educate our children about online safety: teaching them the appropriate behaviours, how to maintain their privacy, having the confidence to report any issues and to develop their skills to enable them to remain both safe and legal when using the internet.
Online Safety Day 2025
Tuesday 11th February 2025
During Online Safety week 2024, the children have been learning about staying safe online, which also links to their mental health. Throughout the week, each class thought about an aspect of staying safe online whether it be group chats, social platforms. taking selfies, seeing what Smartie the Penguin gets up to online to name but a few.
All the children created ways of how to put these important messages across by making fact files, bookmarks, posters, quiz’s and more ready for our roadshow.
We were delighted to see so many parents attend our very first 'Online Safety Roadshow' on Tuesday and listen to the children talking about the many different ways to stay safe.
The safety of the children in our school is paramount to us and it is only by working as a community together that we can ensure their safety online and help the children become responsible citizens.
