KS2 Carol Service - Silent Night
On Monday 18th December parents, grandparents, carers and friends joined us in church to watch the Junior Carol Concert – Silent Night.
At the start of the service, the lights in church were dimmed while the School Choir sang to the congregation by candlelight.
Silent Night was set in 19th century Austria, where the villagers of Oberndorf are busy preparing for their Christmas Eve pageant. Amidst the hustle and bustle, they realise that naughty mice have destroyed the church organ.
The Church provided a perfect setting as the story of Christmas unfolded. There was superb singing and acting from all the children together with great narration. A special thank you must go to the children who sang some amazing solo renditions.
We are extremely proud of all the children and thank them for their excellent performances.
