Year 4 Christmas Ukulele Concert

Year 4 parents, grandparents and friends were treated to a special performance this afternoon as the children gave a fantastic concert demonstrating their newly acquired skills on the ukulele.  

Since the beginning of the autumn term Year 4 have been very busy learning to play the ukulele. Each week Mr Gallagher, from the Lancashire Music Services, has been coming into school to teach the children.

Mrs Nolan and the children gave their own renditions of Silent Night, Feliz Navidad, Deck the Halls, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and they also performed an exceptional reading of the famous Lewis Carroll poem 'Jabberwocky.' It was a great performance which the audience clearly enjoyed.

We would like to thank all our children who performed with such enthusiasm and talent.
