Year 4 Ukulele Concert
Year 4 parents, grandparents and friends were treated to a special performance this morning as the children gave a fantastic concert demonstrating their newly acquired skills on the ukulele.
Since the beginning of the autumn term Year 4 have been very busy learning to play the ukulele. Each week Mr Gallagher, from the Lancashire Music Services, has been coming into school to teach the children.
Dressed in festive jumpers the children started with reciting Jabberworky by Lewis Carroll and then gave their own renditions of Silent Night, Feliz Navidad, Deck the Halls and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. It was a great performance which the audience clearly enjoyed.
We would like to thank all our children who performed with such enthusiasm and talent.
Well done!
