Year 4 visit to Martin Mere

Today, Year 4 went to Martin Mere as part of their History topic 'Smashing Saxons'.

After arriving at Mere Tun the children got ready to help the Anglo Saxon villagers. Year 4 learnt new skills such as thatching, weaving with willow, battle skills, foraging and making charcoal.

They all worked very hard and a had a great day experiencing different aspects of Anglo Saxon life - well done Year 4.
