Year 5 Residential to Crosby Marina

On Thursday Year 5 went on their residential to Crosby Marina and they started their day with Geography fieldwork exploring coastal changes. The children then went on the Marina to develop their water sports skills in paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and raft building.

For tea, the children were given the opportunity to design and make their own pizza before spending the evening playing beach football, creating beach art, a wonderful sunset and music around a campfire.

After a night of (some) sleep, the early risers had a game of football, had breakfast and then back on the Marina. 

Year 5 were truly amazing - their behaviour and attitude were exceptional. We had three different members of the Crosby Marina staff comment on their politeness and behaviour.
