Year 5 visit to The Quarry

Year 5 walked down to the quarry this morning, to re-enact their Viking Day! 

Once in their groups, they worked together to create a long boat ready to cross the choppy seas to the unknown lands of England. After travelling to their new homes, they built dens and new settlements and then traded and hunted with their neighbours. 

All the children had an amazing Viking morning - a massive well done to all of Year 5 for joining in today with such enthusiasm and demonstrating brilliant teamwork!
